“Absolutely lovely”
Reviewed May 8, 2013

We only stayed for one night but wish we could have stayed longer! We were a little concerned as the only room available was room 2 with the bathroom across the hall but with the robes in the room and the fact that its directly across the hall we needn't have worried. The Breakfast was amazing and was the best one we had had in a long time. The room was a good size and despite being near a main road it was very quiet. We walked 5-10mins down the road to the Royal Sun pub and had a lovely meal there (I think they finish serving at 9pm) and there is another pub in the opposite direction so there is choice if you are staying more than one night. We will definitely be back!

Stayed here for 3 nights, only got home today but felt the need to write the review straight away. Tanya and Simon (and Paddy, the ageing Staffy dog) were great hosts and nothing was too much trouble, they took the care and time to ask after what guests were doing and tried to help in any way, providing maps, booking tables, giving directions and generally providing useful information. The actual property was finished to a very high spec, and the room we stayed in (room 4) which was shown as a twin was changed to accommodate us in a kingsize double, but still had enough room for everything, the bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was amazing! The breakfast in the mornings were lovely and made all the better by Paddy's party tricks! Would have no hesitation in re-booking at any time - assuming they will have us back!

March 2013. Modern and quality guest house run by very friendly Tanya and Simon. With all our frequent travels we award them SIX stars for having a "small full breakfast" on the menu. One of everything. A FIRST for us to find. We constantly ask for it in most places.
This is not a dog free house - for those with allergies to note.
We will be revisiting to spend time in Oxford and at Blenheim. This last visit was for a wedding nearby

Room Tip: Room 2 has a separate bathroom. Some ensuite are shower only not a bath. Room 1 has more traffic noi...

We have just stayed for one night at this lovely home for a last minute impulse city visit.
The house was immaculate and bed very comfy. The in room refreshment tray was well stocked. We had a very peaceful night and a fabulous breakfast. No complaints at all .
Tanya was charming and friendly and we never felt hurried . A welcoming homely feel and would recommend to others. Thank you .

Room Tip: We had twin ensuite and it was great.

Just had a fantastic two night stay at this lovely B&B, Tanya and Simon (and Paddy) are so friendly and welcoming! Our bedroom was really nice, spotlessly clean and everything had been thought of. And breakfast was awesome! Simon gave us great tips on where to visit in Oxford as it was our first visit, and we just got the bus in as there is a stop just a few seconds down the road. However there is a park n ride nearby or you could easily drive. We would definitely stay here again and fully recommend to anyone.

Everything was done to ensure our stay was an enjoyable one - our room was upgraded without asking, I received a courtesy call from Tanya to find out our ETA so that the champagne I ordered didn't get warm, and Simon gave my partner and I a lift into Oxford so as we avoided a complicated bus journey to the restaurant we had booked - way above and beyond what I expected.

They are really nice people to boot too.
