I never tire of this collection of paintings combined with a changing selection of drawings, all well labelled, lit and displayed. The gallery is small but it is possible to get really close to the exhibits in order to study them and appreciate the fine details.
Access is across cobbles and down a short flight of steps - there are more steps inside, leading up to the display of drawings.
There is a small reception area where one is requested to leave bags before entering the galleries. There is a selection of cards on sale as well as an informative guide to the collection - an excellent souvenir.
