A bit pricier than some of the others, but the ambience is much more pleasant - nice decor and furnishings, excellent quality coffee and cakes, and usually not too overcrowded. A great place to relax at lunchtime. The staff are very pleasant too - the sort of place where you get your coffee and cake brought to your table with proper crockery and cutlery.

Good choice of music, but I wish they'd turn it down a bit.

Just got back from the most disappointing breakfast I have yet experienced in Oxford. Having seen the review below, I was excited to try the American pancakes.....unfortunately what we were served were stodgy, undercooked bits of dough...I don't think the chef has ever had American pancakes....I won't be going back. (The coffee wasn't particularly good either).

Gorgeously situated in a market square, Combibos combines truly decent coffee with a breakfast menu that excels in both quality and range. If, like me, you've got a sweet teeth, go for the pancakes: deliciously fresh and stacked American-high.

It's a shame that their interior - otherwise lovely - is adorned with Athena-style cliche prints, bearing song lyrics (from the dazzlingly unoriginal to the middle-of-the-road). It won't make your breakfast any less delicious, but - c'mon Combibos - source some quailty local art!

A very nice cafe conveniently located near the coach station. Coffees are nice and so are pastries (I had a delicious white chocolate and raspberry muffin). Great place to sit and read.

Nice little place for a post-rowing breakfast! Decent food, slightly more expensive that other cafes but then again, its good to come here every once in a while to enjoy the comfy seats!
