At first sight I had doubts about the hotel because there were lots of chalk board announcements adorning the outside of the hotel. Upon entering the building I was swiftly reassured.
The entrance had been skilfully and attractively modernised.
The receptionists were simply the best I have ever experienced - I cannot over emphasise how good they were. Remakably, on every occasion they both stood up as I approached their desk,, and all my enquiries were courteously and efficiently dealt with.
The room was well decorated - perhaps a little short on drawer space - fresh fruit and bottled water was replaced each day. Fresh milk was offered upon request for the tea making facilities as was a teapot if wanted. Complimentary newspaper, free map and a plethora of guides to the City.
The bathroom was good with lots of large towels and very hot water.
The location is close to all that Oxford city centre has to offer.More
