Hidden away but a great find for tasty good value non chain food. A bit hard to get an outdoor table but worth the wait

Stumbled upon this cafe and were pleasantly surprised. Lovely garden/outside area but struggled to find a seat. Lovely veggie food - I had goats cheese tart, salad and new pots and hubby had veggie korma. Really tasty and great atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.

Those walking down the High St will need to take note of the sign to find the place, but those who do make the small detour will enjoy the rewards of an atmospheric and friendly café. Very busy at lunchtimes- feels like whole faculties are queueing up (and they probably are)- but the friendly, efficient service keeps thing moving so you can have a plate of tasty food in reasonable time. Plenty of options are available to cater for most preferences.

The inside seating looks tight on a busy day but the historic setting of the outdoor seating on a balmy day is lovely. Seats however can be tougher to find than a Wimbledon finals ticket! Laying down for a picnic on the churchyard grass amongst the tombstones adds a somewhat quirky element to things and the varied clientèle provides interest whilst you enjoy your meal.

Had a late lunch with a few friends here and sat in the garden (well churchyard) in the sunshine. Oxford at its best - the view was amazing looking back at Radcliffe Camera and just behind the High Street. Only surpassed by the lovely fresh food. All had veggie options which were plentiful and freshly prepared. Staff were jolly and helpful. Would certainly recommend this for a leisurely hour in the middle of Oxford.

Lovely old vault turned into café...the tea garden outside is lovely ...looking out over Radcliffe square with fantastic buildings all around! As seen in "Lewis" (if you are a fan) a few times!
