I'm surprised to read some of the Malmaison reviews, my limited experience has always resulted in a good experience and I was curious to try the £20 Sunday brunch with my girlfriend.
We were not disapointed, the chefs table offers a stunning choice of fresh meats, fish and salad all prepared for you. A nice portion of that is then followed by the main course, we opted for the Mal roasts and both were nicely prepared. A delicious pudding eventually followed.
Service was very good, food across the board was very well prepared and good value. On the roast the only criticism was the yorkshire puddings which were more well done than I'd have liked, and the gravy served with both was stingy but our request for more gravy was met without fuss. All in all a good experience.
