Magical place with so much to see. Very helpful, friendly staff. The exhibition themed around favourite books was very well done. The views were wonderful.

As a fan of National Trust places, I enjoy visiting great houses with beautiful art collections, furniture, etc. However, the best part of Grey's Court is the garden...amazing layout of different flowers, plants, trees, you have to open different doors to discover the wonders of this site. The best time to visit would be Summer, although I never get tired to do the same in winter, you get awesme pictures if you are into the gothic aesthetics.

The house is not large and with the upstairs and downstairs done, no more than 40 minutes. The walled gardens have interesting plantings, including a wisteria over 100 years old! Walks in the wood with busy kites flying over the copse

Overall a worthwhile visit to both house and garden that was home to a major industrialist from the past. Location is also a plus with wonderful scenery.

Only disappointment is that cafe is using plastic disposable cups in the cafe for water.

This is an interesting house in beautiful grounds and certainly worth a visit if you are in the area.

The contents of the rooms could all be related to life over the past sixty years, but set in a building going back centuries.

This NT property is in a beautiful setting and they do timed tours of the house but you can go round the house at other times. The Cowshed is a tearoom with limited food options but perfectly adequate. The staff are generally very friendly although I did find one member at the entrance rather patronising but she was probably a volunteer and all volunteers are valuable but perhaps a bit of training......!

Our visit was delightful, the property is charming and there is great attention to detail. The lady who did the tour of the property was informative and delightful including everyone, even the children in the information/discussion.
The grounds are beautiful and facilities excellent. Highly recommend.

Visited cowshed cafe today would advise not to go, service very slow and choice of food very limited no sandwiches available only soup, lasagne, jackets & Chinese pork, staff very slow to serve. We had soup that you got 30 mins before other food jacket potato for friend arrived. No concideration that people want to eat meals at same time, no organisation!

As NT members in the area we spent a couple of hours here. House is interesting and gardens are pleasant to walk around. The lady in the lobby gave a good introduction to the history of the house.
