“Very cosy! ”

Spent a few days in this lovely cottage in November. It's a great place to stay with a warm welcome from the owners, complete with welcoming biscuits and the table prettily set for tea. It was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. It's location is fab, right in the centre of Henley, close to the river, train station and restaurants.
The cottage is a little on the small side, but lacks nothing. And it really is very cosy.

“Excellent place to stay in Henley”
Reviewed August 6, 2016 for a stay in July 2016

This cottage is in the perfect spot to explore Henley. A quiet little back street just a couple of minutes walk from the town hall. Everything was spotless when we arrived and there was even a tin of shortbread biscuits waiting for us (It's now empty! :))
Linda and Michael greeted us and are very pleasant people. We had no issues with the rental, but we knew they were not far away if anything went wrong.
A couple of things - it's an older place, nicely renovated, but the stairs are still very steep and narrow. Be careful when crossing from the main bedroom to the bathroom as it would be easy to miss your footing. Also, we found it easier to park in Waitrose car park (3 minutes walk away) than use the garage. Waitrose car park is free from 5pm to 10am during the week and on Saturdays it charges from 8am to 3pm. You can stay for 3 hrs for 1.60 GBP, so it's not expensive.
All in all, we loved the cottage. Would definitely recommend to other people.

“Cosy, comfortable & quirky cottage, short walk to anywhere in central Henley. Just perfect.”

Spent bank holiday weekend (29 April for 3 days) in this gorgeous little cottage. Owners have renovated it beautifully, retaining original features while adding quirky touches. Beds very comfortable with lovely pillows (often a failing in holiday properties, but not this one). Spotlessly clean. Owners Linda and Michael were friendly and welcoming. Walking distance to Henley town centre and to the riverside. Recommend the Chocolate Cafe (don't be misled by the name) on the riverside where they do a wonderful lunch and were very child friendly (daughter & granddaughters joined us for a day), so went back early next day to have the full English breakfast - also great. If you have children the playgrounds at the Water Meadows (just along the riverside from the Chocolate Cafe) are wonderful and could keep them occupied for hours. Several interesting NT and other properties to visit nearby.

“Lovely little cottage perfectly furnished, in a great then centre position”
Reviewed May 2, 2016 for a stay in April 2016

We were the lucky to find this new listing. I booked two of my colleagues in and they were so impressed here are our comments. First guests at this beautifully appointed little cottage which features a double bedroom and a second bedroom with 2 beds. The owners have furnished the cottage stylishly and thought of everything. It has a well equipped kitchen and small private garden. The beds are comfortable, the whole place impeccably clean and beautifully decorated. All in all a lovely quaint cottage in the town centre but away from noise from the retail heart of Henley. Minutes walk to anywhere in Henley and a great place for holiday or business. Linda and Michael the owners are charming and ensured that we had everything required including great internet. We will be booking again soon!

What a lovely surprise. My girlfriend booked this as a weekend getaway and it was fantastic. Very easy to get to from London and the cottage is perfectly located for Henley centre itself. Great restaurants and bars at a stumbling distance! Hosts were very friendly and even arranged some champagne for the fridge when we arrived!
