We stopped here for supper during the arts festival. We ate in the bar and the staff were pleasant and efficient although the white wine was served warm so I had to ask for some ice. Ordered sea bass fillets with crushed new potatoes and green beans in sauce and pork with saute potatoes and curly kale. Overall the food was very tasty, however I only had one fillet of fish, about 3 new potatoes and 6 green beans. My husband commented that his pork was delicious but again, he only had about 4 potatoes and a tablespoon of kale. For around £15 / £16 a head we were disappointed and still hungry when we left the pub, heading for the nearest chippy to fill up on carbo....!! When veg is the cheapest part of the meal, why skimp on the portion sizes? We didn't leave a tip because of this, which didn't seem to go down to well with the bar staff.
