Stopped here on a road trip and it is well worth the detour, set in the tranquil little village of Tew it is a historic 14th century pub and is a diamond of a place.
Nice tables out the front ipto sit and watch the world and a good selection of beers inside. They could do with a couple more bottled ciders for this hot weather!
I would recommend is to anyone passing though and it would be a lovely place to stay for a couples weekend.
Food was great, i had a mixed meat and cheese ploughmans even though it wasnt on the menu they were really flexible in sorting it out and the portion size was good and quality wise it was fantastic.
Another good point was it was locally sourced which is something i like to see.
