Description: Our 3 AA rosette cotswolds restaurant is located on a quaint side street in the heart of Burford, famed for its sheep fairs of times gone by when our historic hotel, was once a collection of weavers cottages. This history teamed with our outstanding food and friendly service makes for a great location for lunch or dinner in Burford. Fine dining is where our Chef shines and we have an inspiring tasting menu with wines to match that we know you're going to love. Indulge in seasonal plates of food that celebrate the fantastic flavours of our local ingredients whilst relaxing in an ambiance that is both intimate and homely. On Sundays, join us with family and friends for a traditional Sunday lunch, nothing fussy, just good food done really well.

The gardens here are beautiful and so restful. The morning coffee is delicious. This is a very good hotel and always makes one feel welcome even if just popping in for a dessert or coffee. Browse the gardens and enjoy the lovely flowers.

We were on holiday last week in Burford and due to rave reviews we had read re this restaurant we decided to go on our last night it all started off well starters were fine although portions a tad small then we were served with compliments of the chef a small glass of butterut squash soup which was very tasty we then ordered the mains two were fine however myself and my husband,s meals were cold and had to be returned by the time we were served my sister and husband were finished the manager did apologise and gave us our desserts on the house however when we received the bill they had the cheek to charge 10 per cent service charge which we refused to pay

As you walk through door you're thrown back in time , so lovely. Staff very efficient , linen napkins with lunch none of your paper ones here!, food a bit on the small side as portions go but very very nice! Would we go back ....definitely in fact I'd like to stay for a romantic weekend!!!

Delicious menu which was not too large! Good service from friendly staff. Small portions, but believe me it's more than enough!

We had a great time. There are a great many tourists in the Cotswolds (like us), but this did not affect our enjoyment of the trip in any way. There are many little country lanes where you can get away from it all and enjoy the beauty of the rolling hills.
