The Copse was just wonderful. From the excellent hospitality provided by Juliana who made us feel instantly at home, to the beautiful room and the splendid view, this was our best ever guest house experience.

Many thanks to Juliana for making a house hunting trip less stressful and more like a holiday.

We have just returned from a lovely stay in this beautiful home. The Copse is tucked away from the busy roads. The accommodation is absolutely perfect. The location is tranquil and peaceful. The hostess Julia is an absolute treasure. The breakfast was delicious. We felt we arrived as guests but left as friends. We will definitely return.

Room Tip: Two beautiful rooms.

The location is delightful, the house warm and welcoming and the food delicious, but the greatest asset of this B&B is Julia herself - a very warm but unobtrusive host who is also thoughtful and kind with a lovely manner. When she realised that we had been drinking wine from tooth mugs, she left a pair of wine glasses in the room for the following evening. Her breakfasts are second to none. As a vegetarian, I enjoyed her lovely breakfasts with plenty of fresh fruit, cereals and tomatoes and mushrooms on toast while my partner got stuck into a full English breakfast. I would recommend this B&B very highly.

By far the best B&B I have ever stayed in. The room was spacious and had a beautiful view. The owner went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable, and offered to drop us at the wedding we were attending. Also was the best cooked breakfast I have had in a long time! I can't recommend The Copse enough and definitely want to return.

Just a short drive down a country lane and turn into a secluded driveway you know immediately you are in for a treat. Julia is leaning out of a bedroom window clipping back the climbing foliage, hello, I'll be right down she says with a welcoming smile and a gentle laugh, just as well I reply I don't rescue damsels on a Sunday. Immediately you feel comfortable and at home. The room with large comfortable bed, clean crisp linen, soft fluffy towels, the lounge with large TV if you want it are superb. Would you like a cup of tea and biscuit in the garden, Make yourself comfortable I'll bring it out. Breakfast is a veritable feast of fruit juice, cereals, prepared fresh fruits, yogurt, full English or whatever you wish cooked to perfection, tea and coffee, brown and white toast, home made preserves. Local knowledge of where to visit, directions and parking anything you want, just ask. Pass this one by and you may regret it. Ah well, home now after five wonderful nights.

Room Tip: Both rooms are superb.

The above Latin phrase translates "nothing but the best is good enough" and that’s our opinion of The Copse B&B having just stayed there. It was out of the blue we discovered this hidden gem and what a find it turned out to be. The old house is a beautiful property that has been lovingly cared for by its owner Juliana, who has refurbished it to a very high standard of comfort and refinement so the experience of just staying there is a pleasure in its self. The view from the property is breathtaking and indoors the bedrooms, bathroom, lounge, breakfast room are all furnished and provided for to a very high standard of cleanliness and comfort. Juliana is a charming host friendly, attentive and informative who leaves no stone unturned in seeking to ensure that those who stay there find it an enjoyable experience. She also does a great breakfast, but stops short of washing your car!! All in all, the Copse ticked every box for us and without hesitation we would recommend it as an ideal place to stay for anyone intending to visit Burford, Bibery or Bourton-on-the-Water.

This really is a five star B&B located in a beautiful village close to Burford. The en suite room was large, very attractively decorated/furnished and had amazing views over the surrounding countryside. Juliana, the owner, is charming, friendly and attentive. She also offers a sumptuous breakfast. First class and highly recommended!
