Ash's Barn is a wonderful barn conversion set within the Windrush Valley. It is well equipped with just about everything required. The view from the rear patio across the valley is breathtaking. Horses, which are stabled at the farm where the barn is situated, roam free in the fields adjacent making a perfect backdrop.

“Amazing little cottage for that getaway weekend”
Reviewed October 27, 2016 for a stay in October 2016

Amazing little cottage located in a quiet lane in the cotswolds town of Windrush, but still close to the major towns. Cottage was clean and well equipped and tastefully restored to make it an ideal romantic weekend away. John the host was excellent and understanding (bit late arriving) but showed us around and then left us alone for the rest of our stay. Views were outstanding, Log fire sheer bliss. Highly recommended

“A lovely place to stay in a beautiful location”
Reviewed September 23, 2015 for a stay in September 2015

A well-decorated, well-equipped and cosy holiday cottage with great views out over Windrush and beyond. Well located for exploring the local area - we did some great walks and visits, all within a half-hour drive. There is also a circular walk from Windrush itself.
The underfloor heating makes the barn really nice and cosy in autumn, and there is a wood burner for the colder months.
Perfect for couples, and was also good for us with a young baby.

“Room with a view”
Reviewed November 4, 2014 for a stay in November 2014

Having arrived in the dark, opening the curtains the following day gave us the wow factor, the views were stunning, the wood burner gives a really cosy feel and the conversion has been tastefully done. Plenty of fabulous places to visit nearby and plenty of great places to eat. As serial self caterers I'm not sure we can top this, should imagine every season is just as good, look forward to visiting our perfect holiday let in the future.

“Great cottage for Cotswold weekend away”

Stayed here with my wife a couple of weeks ago, it's tucked away on a farm, not that easy to find, but when you do find the barn you are not disappointed. The cottage is well equipped and is nice and quiet. I would definitely stay here again and have already recommended to friends.

One small addition which I think would be popular. Providing a small 'welcome basket' to guests. Bread, butter, jam, coffee, tea and milk so that breakfast could be made. As there aren't any shops nearby...

“Beautiful cottage”

We had a lovely weekend escape to Ash's Barn. We arrived there in the evening, and after a few drives up and down the lane we found the main farm house and then the cottage. We were really impressed when we walked through the door to a warm cottage - complete with underfloor heating (amazing!) and a proper fire. The cottage is beautifully done and the bed was one of the most comfortable i've ever slept in.
In the morning we were treated to seeing the views and even met a horse at the bottom of the garden. A lovely place to stay - would def recommend to others and we are hoping to have another visit soon.

“Out of this world”
Reviewed June 26, 2013 for a stay in June 2013

I have recently come back from Ash's barn a few days ago and couldn't wait to praise it. I chose the barn for a romantic getaway for me and my partner it was 'out of this world' we completely loved it.
The barn building and layout inside and out was wonderful, very clean, great location, views were picture perfect and we didn't want to leave. The barn is Perfect for a couple who are looking for a romantic break or even walkers looking for fantastic country walks.

We definitely hope to go back very soon.
