This cottage is in a lovely little lane, very quiet and within easy walk of Burford where there are lots of shops and pubs. it has a very pretty garden out the back but the garden furniture was quite uncomfortable and a bit rusty.
it had a lovely kitchen but was a bit short on utensils etc and they were a bit grubby.
the beds were comfortable.
Due to the layout of the cottage the bathroom was downstairs. it was a bit tatty with black mould on the bath seal and it also smelt a lot of damp as apart from the window there was no ventilation.
the log fire too was in a strange place not in the lounge but the dining area. we didnt use it. there was a sofa on that area to but to one side of the fire so not really somewhere to snuggle up in the winter.
the lounge was the most disappointing area. the carpet was dirty and stained as was the sofa and there were cobwebs on the light fittings. it was quite dark which is probably good thing.
it is a shame as there are good things about this property but it just needs to be cleaned and kept better
