Great pub with a good range of well kept beers which change regularly. I also like the board which tells you how far away the beers are brewed. Burgers are really good as well served with chips and coleslaw.
Staff are also friendly, thoroughly recommend

Lively place with loads of choice of real ales on sale. Good atmosphere with live bands most Saturday nights. Good choice of burgers on the menu and a nice beer garden to sit out in. Definitely worth a visit.

Went for Sunday lunch and ordered roast pork. The 'loin' was half unrendered fat, the Yorkshire were frozen, the gravy and stuffing were from a packet, the roast potatoes were deep fried and the kitchen couldn't buy in or make Apple sauce. Bad. Just to top it all, a pint of Harp was £4.50.

Me and my boyfriend are regular visitors, burgers are insane and the price is great too. Need to try Sunday dinner next!

This pub took some finding by car, due to the unfathomable street plan, diversions, one way streets and intrusive tram network which all criss-cross this traditional old residential area. Once found though, and inside, it was terrific. Good range of beers - I had Draught Bass, and excellent it was too. My pal was treating me to lunch so I had a very large burger, which I struggled to do justice to haha. It was very good though, almost certainly home-made, freshly cooked and nicely garnished. Proper chips too, I think. Quite busy for a midweek lunchtime, in spite of being tucked away, so obviously people "in the know" have discovered it.
Can definitely recommend and is on my repeat visit list for lunch. Almost forgot - also dog friendly....
