“One night business stay”
Reviewed April 17, 2013 via mobile

The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was not as clean as some premier inns I have stayed in, the bathroom needed a good dust and the carpet badly stained but the bed was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good in the pub right next door. The location was ideal for my meeting.

Stayed here as it was walking distance to visit family - not sure I would choose this location otherwise. Good clean, spacious rooms. Very comfortable bed. Good shower. Plenty of parking. Handy pub next door.

We had to stay as was let down by another hotel, very expensive for a bed (£67) for 16 hours, and would have been a further £20+ for evening meal and nearly another £20 for breakfast. Staff OK and did give us a room suitable for us,

Stayed here for one night with an elderly friend. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the welcome was friendly.
We'd booked a twin room, but were given a room with a kingsize bed and another small single against the wall in a corner.
My friend (90 and going strong) took the big bed, and I had the small one. I couldn't see the television from there, and there were no chairs in the room to put in front of TV. No bedside light for the single bed, so had to get friend settled down with overhead light still on, turn off lights and feel my way back to bed.
Not much sleep for either of us because of noise from room upstairs, lots of sounds of furniture moving until late at night, and starting again at six in the morning.
Upsides: what you see is what you get, cleanliness good
Downsides: expensive wifi, no remote control for the television and no bedside light for the single bed.

We have used this particular before and because of a family event we recently went to the Premier Lodge at Daybrook, Nottingham once again and found it to be a very warm comforting family hotel. The breakfast was good value for money.

Room Tip: Excellent for families

visiting for wedding and I must say nothing was too much trouble the staff were friendly the place was very clean. There was very little noise considering there were a lot of people staying for this time of the year.
There was a pub opposite which served breakfast as part of the add on to the hotel and they complimented each other nicely.
Certainly value for money

Room Tip: We were up on top floor and at the back ....no noise at all

I really liked this hotel, the usual standard you would expect from premier inn hotels. This hotel had a pub at the complex to the hotel which was where you went for your breakfast. They also do lovely dinners of an evening with a children's menu included so all the family were able to have a choice if something to eat. The hotel staff were really helpful and could t do enough for us. The only complaint I would have would be we were only provided a small television which was too small . As we were in a family room my children had to sit pretty much on top of the television in order to see the picture, apart from that we had a great stay.
