A beautifully kept park and gardens complimenting Wollaton Hall. Well worth a visit! Just watch out for the deer in mating season!

“Fabulous day out anytime of the year!”
Reviewed November 25, 2013 via mobile

Beautiful grounds with roaming deer, modern cafe with great service, be sure to take the tour in the Hall - you'll discover lots about the history of the place and see rooms you wouldn't normally get access to, including rooms from the most recent Batman film.

“Great place any time of the year”
Reviewed November 25, 2013

The hall is very interesting and the parkland is a great place for a walk or a bike ride. Plenty of open spaces for a picnic or a kick-about, as well as a nice cafe for a cuppa or an ice-cream. Take the kids to the play-area, to look at the deer or to feed the ducks. Meet friends and throw a frisby or fly a kite! If it's cold wrap up warm, get a take-away cuppa and have a stroll round the lake, watching the ducks scooting across the ice. There are often events going on in the park, from steam days, to concerts, so generally there is something for everyone. Brilliant and generally free (£2 to park all day). Wonderful!

“A great local attraction”
Reviewed November 24, 2013

Wollaton Park is a bit of a go-to attraction. There is often something on and if not, you can walk through the park and around the lake, feed the ducks, walk the dog, relax on the grass, see the deer, play games, have a picnic etc. It is beautiful in Summer and great to see so many people out enjoying the park. It is a hive of activity. I have been inside of the hall a few times and in the gardens but generally we just go to enjoy the park. The coffee shop is okay. There is a parking fee but it isn't too expensive.
