Fabulous place to visit, but the icing on the cake was the 'Hidden Wollaton' tour, including taking a climb up on to the roof and down into the underground passages. The talk was interesting and informative and superb value.

Yes indeed it was, Wayne Manor from 'The Dark Knight Rises ' though there is no mention of it in the movies credits.

A beautiful park, deer park and house that contains a natural history museum, I actually prefer Wollaton (pronouced 'woolaten') to Nottingham Castle (which really isn't a castle at all!!).

They have some fantastic events during the summer, and the grounds are brilliant for sledging if there is winter snow! Some beautiful wooded walks and there is a lake and waterfowl.

A decent little coffee shop on site, NO ENTRY FEE and cheap parking makes this a cheap and cheerful day out, and it's brilliant for a summer picnic - Just remember to take your cape :)

Took our history Group here. Car parking very reasonable and Free Entry. The Museum was amazing. Paid the small fee for a private tour of the roof etc which was well worth it. The park and the deer herd were beautiful.highly recommended.

Me and my family often go here as its not far from our home. Its a beautiful place and when the weathers nice, it can be a great escape. People and staff are friendly. Plenty of land to chill out on, great building with history and of course the new batman scene, inside theres lots of interesting things to see along with a store which is good as its not one of them ones where you end up in the shop with your children asking for toys.

Defintely worth a visit.

When we have visitors from overseas, this is the place I love to bring them! Never tire of going back again and again. The grounds are our favourite bit, four children who have acres to roam free in, the Sleepy Hollow effect to the walk round the far end of the lake, the hidey hollow tree, the climbing tree in the gardens, the ice cream van, the lovely cafe, the cool shop, stunning views - what's not to like?
