“lovely place”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 8, 2012

We live near Wollaton Park and yet it never ceases to keep us entertained for a few hours! Our 2 year old son loves all the outdoor space, the lake is beautiful and the house is free to look round. The only charge is abround £2 for parking which i dont think is bad for an essentially free day out!

“Wollaton Hall - Lovely "free" days out”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 5, 2012

Wollaton Hall and Deer park is great, it is free, you do have to pay and display for the car. It is now famed for Batman: The Dark Knight Rises. This is great all year round, lovely for a family picnic, nice little play park. Sledging when it snows etc. This is a perfect day for an outing to go walking, playing, feed the ducks, dog walking. They often have events here. The place is always clean and tidy, there is a golf course, a cafe, a lovely garden. This is one of nottinghams great green areas.

“History and Scenery combined”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 27, 2012

Wollaton Park has always been our favourite place in which to enjoy a beautiful open space. You can choose to visit the Elizabethan hall, to walk leisurely around the lake, to take the children to the playgrounds or just sit and enjoy the sheer expanse of the grounds. It's excellence is indicated in the multitude of different organisations which choose this venue to stage a variety of events. Splendid.
