We were unfortunate not to be able to visit the Brewhouse as it is only open at weekends out of season. I have been before and wanted my friend to experience the 'go back in time' theme that they have. The cost of the Museum is included in the Castle Entrance Ticket, so great value for money. Had we returned with our ticket on the Saturday or Sunday, we would have been admitted without problem as it is valid for 7 days. Unfortunately we didn't find the time to return. Maybe next visit!

|f you have children don't forget to pick a question sheet at the start as this will give great pleasure to all going round. This museum has entire shops on display taken from donations by local business for example a victorian chemist, a cobblers etc. For adults its a trip down memory lane of carbolic soap and reckitts blue bags etc well worth the visit it also is right next to the trip to Jerusalem pub for meals etc

If you don't mind feeling old then this is the place for you. Looking at some of the exhibits reminds you of your own childhood (depending on your age of course) Brought back some wonderful memories and our grandchildren enjoyed their school visit too.
