Stayed as attending conference centre for conference. Very close to venue so ideal for the conference. new hotel. rooms nice. breakfast good, but very busy and finding tables an issue in the morning. Restaurant good, but limited choice. Car parking easy. Well signposted.

Very nice hotel, only just over a year old. Booked an accessible room and adjoing room, the bed in the adjoining room was massive. The hotel was very clean. Nice new shower units, a funky one in the accessible room with a hole in the middle (just like a polo), don't know why it was there, it just fascinated me. Rooms have sky sports, except for Sky Sports 2 for some reason, but if you ask nicely, they will put in on the bar area for you (they did for us). Breakfast staff were friendly and helpful. Also reception staff, just have one complaint, we had to leave early, and although I know I had booked a second night on a non refundable basis, I was told by somebody in charge that she would "waiver my fee for breakfast" which it quite categorically states on my booking is included, and I as I was not feeling that well, could not be bothered to argue about. This soured what was a nice stay at a lovely hotel.

Spent a long weekend in Nottingham, which included visiting the Goose Fair and spending some time with our daughter who is studying at Nottingham Trent University. The Orchard Hotel is a very impressive hotel from the outside, which is matched by the facilities inside. We managed to get a bargain room rate for the weekend of £39 per night and so we weren't expecting too much. However, having read some of the reviews on Tripadvisor, we were a little unsure as to what to expect, as there have been some mixed comments. However, our experience was excellent throughout: plenty of free parking, check in smooth and quick, decent sized bedroom, only £6 taxi fare into the city, excellent breakfast, good selection of drinks in the bar (a little pricey but the quality was very good), lovely surroundings on the university campus, The staff were excellent and couldn't do more for you. We had one issue with the shower leaking and immediately someone came to our room and arranged for us to be moved to a replacement room. There is one design issue with the taps for the sink; if not on full power, water does tend to drip outside of the sink.

Overall, an excellent experience and we would certainly have no hesitation in staying here again.

we live local and so 4 of us went to the Bramley Brasserie within the hotel last night.

we had a lovely meal, not overpriced for the quality, the ambiance was good and our waiter Stephen was very helpful and personable.

We especially liked the wine list on iPad system so much better to view and decide.

We will go again and highly recommend.

Room Tip: we did not stay just used the Brasserie.but I would encourage my friends and relatives to stay here...

Of all the years of visiting Nottingham this has to be the best hotel I have stayed in. It is in a stunning setting and has all the facilities you need. The rooms are well equiped and fairly new and without signs of any wear. Free car parking was also a great benefit. The only downside was that it was not well sign posted off the A52 and in the dark not an easy find. Its location being so far from Nottingham city centre would make staying here difficult it you didnt have a car or bike. Overall an excellent room and nice comfy bed. Even the shower was of a decent power to blast away the shampoo.

Stayed here for two nights whilst attending a conference in the EMCC next door. Large bedroom & bathroom, nice hot shower, good sized plasma TV in room with Freeview & Sky Sports channels. Restaraunt was nice with very well presented food, breakfast was self service buffet style, with a good selection. Wifi is free in both hotel & EMCC with good coverage & good connection speeds. 8/10

Stayed here for one night on a bed and breakfast basis. As a solo female traveller I felt very safe and comfortable. The location of the hotel means once you are there you really have to eat and drink in the hotel unless you go out by car or taxi. Car parking was plentiful and free. Staff were all very helpful. I was certainly not the only lone person there and so eating in the bar alone did not feel uncomfortable at all. Bar menu and drinks prices were reasonable for a hotel. The double room had air con, large plasma TV with lots of channels, including sky sports. Good sized bath with shower. Room decor was very modern . Room was quite small for a double so if there are two of you it might be a bit cosy. Great wifi coverage which was very fast. Overall a good business traveller hotel
