Description: A JD Wetherspoon pub in the heart of Nottingham. A large bar on the groud floor which is great for eating or drinking and a smaller bar upstairs which overlooks the market square. Open from 7am for breakfast and until midnight every day of the week. Children welcome for family dining until 8pm and if you have a large group just give us a ring and we can reserve you a table.

We visited the Joseph Else for a lunchtime meal while visiting Nottingham for a family party. We ordered our food and drink through the Wetherspoons app and it arrived very quickly. The place was very busy which you would expect from a City Centre pub but the staff were working tirelessly to keep the place clean and tidy.

Good location and nice looking from outside. Offers everything you expect. Not the greatest food I’ve had from a spoons. But you don’t pay a lot for it. Nice enough building. Worth it for a budget pint and bite to eat.

I come here quite frequently with my family and have not had a bad meal yet. Sometimes it can get quite busy and rowdy but you expect that with a pub. We choose to sit right at the back as those who are there solely to drink sit at the front. The staff are always more than friendly. The food is your average pub grub and is reasonably priced. We come for breakfast and as none of us like hash browns we swap this for an extra sausage which the staff are happy to do. I would recommend coming here if you want something quick and cheap.

There is not a lot to say about this place. It is an average normal whetherspoons .

The food was both tasty well cooked. The time from ordering to eating was excellent considering it was lunch time and the place full.

The staff friendly and polite .

On a less than positive note the place could do with redecorating. Overall it looks tired and worn.
