Great theatre however we had seats in the top tier and the bass heavily distorted. This was a few years back so maybe they have sorted it.

However, book the lower tier just in case.

Visiting Nottingham for a half term break, we were delighted to see the Lady Killers was showing at this lovely theatre. I had been before so choose seats that face the stage as the side ones slope downwards towards the stage! Still great value at £25 for front of the upper circle seats!

This theatre was built by the Victorians in 1878 and beautifully renovated in 1975 to it's original splendour - gilt everywhere! There are four levels and all have good views.

My only complaint is the leg room as we are now so much taller than the VIctorians were so I only just fit in the seat - anyone taller than 5ft 9" really should get an aisle seat!

Very atmospheric - there are just the right amount of people seated in here and when you get into the plays, it feels like you're the only person in the room - Marvellous!!!
