we went on the mothers day trip on the nottingham princess today it was a wee bit choppy but we did not notice, captain Tim newman handled the boat so well it was a smooth as butter...having been on a trip down the river trent before on this boat we knew the food would be excellent the beef is amazing well done chef..we saw many species of birds on and off the river with great crested grebes coming soooo close.this trip is a must if you have the time and so reasonable ...its comfy clean and warm loved it..

Took my wife on the Nottingham Princess River Cruiser where we had a meal and there was a disco and free bar..It was superb value..The staff were all friendly and the DJ and Captain both took time out to come and speak to everyone on the boat and shake everyones hand as they left the boat at the end of the night. The 3 hour trip was very relaxing and the choice of music was for all ages. Well impressed and we will return

I went on The Prince (Nottingham) which is on the one deck and probably better for private parties on Saturday Oct 20th to a girly 30th birthday bash. The staff were really nice and put up with us 34 tipsy ladies in a really fun but professional manner, we had a choice of gammon, curry and sausages (all three if you desire) served with lovely thick chipped potatoes, peas and plentyful mixed salad, the food was great. As for the drinks they were all reasonably priced even the bottles of wine were less than £12 which I thought was very good as the bar on board could have really overcharged as lots of other places do. After the food section was cleared then the fun began on the dance floor. Everyone had a wonderful evening. Oh and yes this boat is disabled friendly. I would say this boat would be great for family gatherings, hen and stag nights, any occasion really if fun is you thing!! Thank You The Crew of The Prince !!!

We travelled as part of a coach party and joined the Nottingham Princess for a roast beef and yorkshire pudding lunch and apple pie and custard dessert. The food was very nice and served hot and was served up by waiters and waitresses while cruising down the river Trent. It was a 3hr cruise and involved going through a lock which added to the interest. Ideal for anyone and disabled friendly.

It was a lovely day out and once the fog finally lifted had some good views. Didn't see much wildlife at this time of year except for a couple of swans and mallard ducks. It was expensive but we would certainly go again. There were toilet facilities on the boat too. May be a good idea to bring a camera as could spot some wildlife.
