The pub is in a grand old converted church which is magnificant, unfortunately the drinks prices are also magnificant. My wife loves cocktails but at these prices she decided against it. We stayed for one drink as there are many other pubs in the area that are a lot cheaper but no les enjoyable.

The venue is magnificent. An old converted church- with all of the grandeur of the enormously high ceilings and stained glass- which are shown off to their full. It is a glorious venue, and one that you feel a sense of blasphemy/guilt for enjoying food and a few tipples in.

The food and drinks are expensive for what you get. If you are coming here for the food, you'll be disappointed. However, the lamb shank I had here once was truly very tasty. After that I've never really enjoyed the food.

Drinks are good- but they are expensive with cocktails in the £10-£15 range.

Good for a one-off.

We've been here for drinks quite a few times and decided to eat. They had a winter menu on at the time and the food was good. Good portion sizes at a decent price. Not somewhere for a special occasion meal but definitely for a very good casual lunch or dinner.

A beautiful building, but any drink will show you that you're paying for the view! Cute quirky chalk board messages and innovative decorations really make this a pleasant place to sit with a classy drink and meet with old friends.
