Owner description: Green's Windmill is a restored 19th Century tower mill, once home to mathematical physicist George Green. Turning again since 1986, climb to the top of our windmill and see how our sails turn grain into flour. In our interactive Science Centre discover the remarkable story of George Green, and experiment with light, electricity and magnetism. There's something for all the family!

“Tthe jewle of Sneinton”
Reviewed March 9, 2012

Found this city centre mill when my son was a small child and I still take visitors to see Green's mill 20 years later. It combines the working mill with great views, some hands-on science exhibits and for serious mathematicians an exhibition about Green. In the summer it's a pleasant place for a picnoc and there's a children's play area where they can run off steam. Don't forget to buy some flour. Good activities in school holidays too.

It is well worth a visit. It was nice being allowed to explore the windmill and the science museum was good.
