A great place to have a day outdoors, many things to do and well kept grounds and lake, also nice to see round the Old University buildings etc.

This is a lovely park, which has a boating lake, bowls, childrens play park, art theatre and restaurant. It is great to jog round or for picnics. The only down side is the parking which is sparce as it is attached to the university. Best time to go is in the week or when the students are away.

This is a great place to spend an afternoon with children as there is a huge very well equipped play area and also a nice cafe where the lunch is quite good and reasonably priced. there are lots of activities and shows suitable for a family audience.

Has a good play park, lots of space for football and cricket, a boating lake and putting green. Bowls greens and croquet lawns. Lovely gardens though not quite as grand as they were.

This is my favourite Sunday morning walk in Nottingham. A really underated local park with fabulous views across the lake. In summer, you can row on the lake. There's a small putting green. The two adjacent cafes are very popular, and great value, with really fresh foods. Lovely seating overlooking the lake. The cafe in the arts centre is very popular with University staff. The exhibitions are just fantastic, and free. We are so lucky to have this place.
