Great value for money, my room was basic but clean, comfy and spacious.Booked room on Business floor and it was lovely and quiet. Great shower. Friendly staff. Location perfect for my visit....if you wanted to walk into town it is about a mile. Would definitely stay again.

Hotel has everything you need. It's clean, tidy and the room was well aired. With the pub next door, good food and drinks are handy. This place is ideal situated for visits to children at Nottingham Trent University

Room was clean and comfy to the extent needed for a night or two. Good value although would have been better had the price not gone up minutes before I booked. Phone booking costs extra still! Still, it was quiet, friendly and did what it was meant to do. Shower temperature was a bit lame but OK, no power sockets by the beds. WiFi extra so didn't bother.

The hotel is located in a retail park away from the main city centre. However don’t let this put you off as there is a frequent bus service leaving from almost outside the hotel. In addition a short 7/8 minute walk will take you to the meadows embankment tram stop, which is only short hop from the city centre and runs every 7-15 minutes depending on the time of day. If like us you are attending an event at any of the cities main venues (including the Motorpoint arena) an event return ticket only costs £2. With free parking at the hotel this is cheaper and less hassle than parking in city centre.

Like all Travelodge hotels this one follows the same formula of minimal but perfectly functional accommodation /rooms. The room we had was quiet and clean and the large king size bed very comfortable. There is a pub next door that provides food (incl breakfast) but the hotel itself does not have any catering facilities. We didn’t try the pub but other guests said it was both good and cheap.

We did encounter a number of issues during our stay but the staff dealt promptly where they could. The duty manager was particularly helpful.

If you spend a lot of time in your hotel room then you probably need to consider something more upmarket. However if like us you really only use it to sleep and shower then give this hotel consideration, especially as it was about half the price of those in the city centre, who also charge to park. Despite the issues incurred during our stay we will probably use again when next visiting

A Sunday night stay to visit our daughter in Nottingham. The hotel ticked all the boxes. Comfy bed, clean, good bathroom and a great location. 1 minute from the bus stop to access the centre of the city. A day ticket for 2 + 3 kids with unlimited travel was £5. Buses run every 15 minutes. Breakfast next door was excellent and well priced. Hotel is easy to find and parking if free. Great trip.
