“Gooooodd foood!!”
Reviewed April 13, 2013 via mobile

The food is very good quality and fresh.
The decor inside is a little cold, but it is warmed by the lovely waitress.
We were taken with friends and aim to eat here at least every 2 weeks!

“A little gem of Italy on our doorstep!”
Reviewed March 31, 2013

We eat at Navarra's regularly but it was after experiencing a different restaurant last night that I feel compelled to write a recommendation regarding how special this place is. The relaxed and friendly atmosphere is always welcoming and we have never had a bad meal there (and we do eat there a lot!!!) One thing we take for granted (until our experience last night) is how exceptionally clean the restaurant is, so clean that we never think about it. Gina is a fantastic hostess and waitress, accommodating of the customers and nothing is too much trouble. Tony is an exceptional chef with fresh ideas regularly on the notice board which are always delicious. We have taken many friends there, always confident that they will enjoy the freshly cooked wholesome meal. The portions are generous and good value for money. I always take it as a good sign when I see Italian people eating there which they frequently do. This family owned business is a well kept secret which more people need to try.

“A fine Italian restaurant”
Reviewed February 5, 2013 via mobile

We went for my wife's birthday and had a great meal. The food was excellent - had the mushrooms and salmon for starters which were both great. The Pork and sage fillet was also good and the sausage risotto had great flavours. You have to try the tiramisu!!! Excellent value and nice homely feel

“Great little Italian!”
Reviewed November 30, 2012

Visited this restaurant after a recommendation. What a gem didn't even know this place existed!!! Great home cooked Italian food. Very decent sized portions - will probably share starter next time. The pan fried sea bass with lentils was amazing but the star was the hazelnut and pistachio nut meringues! Will be returning soon and will pop into the deli that's next door. Lovely staff too, very welcoming.

“Delicious Food, rustic, homely atmosphere with excellent service”
Reviewed November 10, 2012

Our family went to Navarra for a birthday meal last night. This was my 2nd visit and I will definitely be going again!!! Food was delicious, lovely fresh ingredients... I had seafood salad and swordfish in thyme. My partner had cauliflower soup and fillet steak! It was outstanding... Very rustic and homely!!

The service was extremely goood, nothing was too much trouble and Gina makes you feel really valued as a customer and friend. No wonder it's one of my sisters favourite restaurants and she's continues to go back there. It is a definite recommendation.
