Description: We are a family run business that has been trading for 30 years. Selling Ciabatta's Hot Meals Salads Sloppy Joes Breakfasts(until 11am). We sell food all tastes the shop is small but we do have limited seating. We cook from scratch every day so be aware we do sell out each day we start with nothing and each afternoon we finish with nothing so do not leave it to late in the day to come in to avoid disappointment.

“Lunch time snack !”
Reviewed May 7, 2013

I always pop in Brown Betty's when I am in Nottingham for lunch. The food is always excellent - really tasty and you get piles of it - in fact on this occasion I didn't need anything to eat for the rest of the day! There are a couple of small tables to sit at and share with the regulars - its cosy and a light relief from walking around Notts. The tea is excellent; would recommend this along with the granary bread and fantastic salads. Overall its not expensive and very good value for money.

“Amazing as always”
Reviewed April 27, 2013 via mobile

Found out Brown Betty's are open on a Saturday!! Popped in today for some good food - as always they don't dissapoint. There was no room to sit so we had a coffee in weather spoons and waited about 20mins. Went back and sat in. *** The food is AMAZING *** massive portion sizes - real tasty food! My boyfriend had a ciabatta - it was massive and so fresh full of filling. I had a spicy chicken salad. Couldn't finish it although I tried hard to! I can't stress enough how fresh and good the food is!!! I you've not been you are missing out! 5 stars from me! ***** brilliant place *****

“Fabulous breakfast and welcoming service”
Reviewed April 21, 2013

Decided to try The city centre for breakfast rather than our hotel and this was an excellent find. A little cafe down St James' Street with food chalked up on the board, family run, excellently freshly cooked bacon, sausage and egg with doorstep buttered toast. Had fried mushrooms on the side as saw them being brought in by little girl and chopped by her - good too. Would definitely recommend.
