I've gone here alone and I've gone with large groups, and we've always found a nice place to sit where we can talk or where I can sit and read whilst having a pint. The staff are lovely, the prices are reasonable and the food is quite good.

Came here with a large party of 8 including a toddler and all had the Traditional English breakfasts. Breakfasts were very good value and nicely cooked, drinks were a very generous size and our waiters bought us all sugar for the teas and coffees and extra butter for toast without us even having to ask. All in all, lovely dining experience, would come here again.

Really enjoyed out visit here, Food was of great value and my gin and tonic was best I have had for ages.

Nice choice of seating and very friendly efficient staff.

Not sure how other pubs in area would survive with this great place on the main street.

This place is great during the day to have a one to one meeting.

Good service, good value food and drinks.

We stayed for a steak lunch and drink after our meeting. Sirloin, salad, jacket and a drink for £5.99. I'd paid at least ten quid more than that elsewhere recently.

Recommend The Samuel Hall for business / one on one staff meetings during the day. And the steak offer is the best!
