Managed to book in advance and get a great price of £45.00 for a one night stay and this was an even better bargain after my priority card was recognised and I was given an upgrade to an executive room!!

This hotel is in a great location with an abundance of restaurants around you, the room I stayed in was exceptionally clean with a huge tv and a fantastically comfortable bed... could've just stayed in there all day!!

Had a fantastic stay, a great nights sleep and a really good breakfast, will def return

Stayed here for three nights last weekend in a family room. Staff so friendly and cannot do enough for you. Room very clean and modern and nicely decorated. Bar had very nice atmosphere and restaurant food was out of this world! Kids eat free which was a bonus as well. Breakfast was good too and the staff managed really well with the huge number of people staying for the cheerleading competition that weekend. Would definitely stay here again. One tiny niggle is the fact that wifi is not free.

Stayed here on Saturday night, £45.00, room only. Great location with restaurants all around you. We were given an executive room and could not fault it, massive TV with loads of channels, comfortable bed with choice of pillows, very clean an modern furnishings. Reception staff were very friendly, we had been out all day and didn't want to eat out so went to Pizza Hut opposite the hotel and had a take away which we ate in the room, hotel had no objection! Will stay again.

We stayed for 2 nights and with the exception of a few cleaning issues in our room we had a really nice stay.
The reception and bar staff were friendly and professional, the room was a good size and overall the hotel is clean and tidy. It is well placed just a few minutes from the lively city centre and has reasonably priced eateries either side as well as a Sainsburys across the road.
We didn't eat in the hotels restaurant but the menu looked good, if a little pricey.

your rooms are a standard Holiday inn affair , I was luck to have an executive room with bath minibar etc and a very comfy bed.
There is a gym if you can call it that, one multi station machine, 1 treadmill 1 bike and 1 elliptical trainer all in good condition
So whats the surprise the restaurant, ITS GREAT the chef is brilliant. It is without doubt the best restaurant i have seen in a holiday inn by far. Beautifully presented, beautifully cooked and a great taste. Breakfast is not bad either.
They are doing the old girl up at the moment so there are some areas of the hotel less well decorated, but the renovated areas are lovely

We stayed here as part of a group attending a conference at Trent Vineyard Church in Jan / Feb, and as a regular hotel user I have to say I was impressed with the way that this hotel handled about 50 of us all wanting breakfast at about the same time each morning. We stayed for four nights, and throughout the stay the staff were courteous, friendly, and professional. The rooms are good - spacious with good facilities - a touch worn perhaps, but nevertheless very clean and everything worked. Would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel !b

Room Tip: It's a quiet area - no need to ask for back or front or high floor.

We all take great pride in delivering excellent service and I’m really pleased that this has come across during your recent visit. We are currently in the process of upgrading our TV service, we will be installing new 32” LCD flat screen TV’s in every room and updating our current channel offering which we feel will create a new modern feel to our bedrooms.
Once again thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback and if you require any further assistance please don’t hesitate to contact us.
