Decided to try this new restaurant as we had heard good reports about the food. They turned out to be correct. Both starters were excellent. My main course of roast belly pork with a wonderful creamed cabbage, which I'd never had before was superb. My partner chose the hake which was cooked to perfection. One point of interest, she was asked if she would like the chips cooked in vegetable oil as she had mentioned earlier that she didn't eat meat and the chips would normally be cooked in beef dripping. She was very pleased to have this choice. Attention to detail adds a lot to the service.
