We visited F&B's in April 2013 and were pleasantly surprised at both the level of attention and the staff friendliness despite arriving after 22:30 on a Friday night; a table was instantly prepared - one thing to note here is that the backs of the seats in Sixfields are very flexible, each movement from the guy behind me was directed with pinpoint accuracy so we asked to move after our food order had been placed, F&B's staff were only too obliging to help out.
The food was good especially so late in the evening, the chicken and prawn Alfredo was very tasty apparently (I don't do seafood) but my "here's one I made earlier" lamb shank was very tasty - obviously not as nice as 'proper' restaurant food or homecooked but certainly well worth the price when compared to other large chain foods.
On the whole, it was actually a very nice experience (with some cool music in the background), the food was good, could have been better but with being a large chain with a huge and varied menu to fulfill, this may not be possible.
My advice would be if you are looking for proper cooked food as a meal out then look for a local restaurant (we only went to F&B's because they were the only ones still serving after 21:30),
Bread & Olives
Chicken & Prawn Alfredo
+ drinks: £35, not the cheapest for the quality though you could do a lot better (and a lot worse).
