“Sir Tom in concert”
Reviewed July 11, 2014

Good seating arrangements and plenty of portaloos, could have put more staff on the bars or done something to improve the flow of drinks, the food queues were better, didn't have to wait long to get something to eat. A few people started a fight (totally unexpected and shameful for their generation) but this was quickly sorted by the security team.
Sir Tom Jones of course was fantastic so any faults within the venue went unnoticed!!!!

“Sir Tom at the ground”
Reviewed July 10, 2014

I liked how close we were to the stage, I liked that there were plenty of portable loos, I liked that the queue's for everything went down fast, the staff were very helpful. To be honest I know nothing about cricket so can't comment on it as a venue for the sport, although it did look very well kept with nice stands and a lovely club house.

“T20 Blast”
Reviewed June 14, 2014

Went to my 1st T20 blast match on Friday night against Yorkshire. Only booked online the night before. Parking very easy in Abington Park for free 5 minutes walk to the ground. Had to pick the tickets up again easy from the gazebo by the entrance then in to find our seats. we were there early as we were new to this. We really enjoyed people watching the coming and going, we surprised by the whole evening. We had a really good evening very enjoyable made more so by the weather. Even my non cricketing partner enjoyed it. Watching cricket on TV you don't get the buzz, movement of the crowd, or even how hard the balls are hit and the speed of the ball moves at.
