Very helpful instructions prior to visit, very clean and thoughtful. Couldn't thank them enough.Great location and convenience shopping very close for all the essentials
Small but with everything we needed and well presented. A short walk into the town centre and on-site parking for two cars a bonus.
We stayed here last week and it is a great place to stay. Only a 10 minute walk from Monkgate and is very well equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, high chair and travel cot. There are three bedrooms, and one bathroom and the house has off road parking, essential for a trip to York. We bought two adult York passes for two days and managed to visit the Minster, the Railway Museum (via the Road train from the Minster) and used the open top bus. On the second day we used our bus ticket which is valid for 24 hours and visited Clifford's Tower and the Castle Museum. Unfortunately the Jorvik Centre is closed but there was a small exhibition next door which was fun to look around. We didn't manage to go on the YorkBoat until our third day (which meant we weren't able to use our 2 day pass) but it was still a fun thing to do.
We would definitely recommend staying at this accommodation again.

The owner was very helpfull. Good clear instructions.
The house was lovely. Better than it looked in the photos. Very clean. Very well appointed. A bit too hot for us but we just tuurnd off the central heating. Because we were all family it didn't matter that there was only one bathroom and toilet.
Easy walking distance to York city centre.
Off street parking for 2 cars.
Problem with the postcode - google maps thinks it is number 17. This caused a bit of difficulyty finding the house (for 2 of the party).
Need spare bin bags. We bought some.
