This apartment is well decorated and very comfortable. A short walk from the York centre, and a pleasure to return to of an evening.
We were welcomed with a tea tray and fresh red roses, which was a classy touch. If I return to York I would look to book this place again.

This was our third visit and it was 1st class as always.
All the little extras are a lovely touch, the key pick up very easy.

Spent 4 nights here at 21 monkgates cloisters in august 2015 we were very pleased with the apartment .It is clean, comfortable and walking distance to all that york has to offer.Will stay here again if we return next year......george and janis ayrshire scotland

Returned for a 2nd visit and still as lovely.
Beautifully furnished, comfortable beds and pillows. Bath and separate shower. Well stocked kitchen, smart TV and secure parking.
A few minutes walk to the walls and attractions and Sainsbury's 2 minutes away.
A warm meet and greet.
Really the only place to stay in York.

We stayed here for 3 nights and thought it was fantastic, the secure gated parking right next to the apartment was a bonus. The apartment is on the first floor so you have to walk up two small flights of stairs, which were not a problem. It's a five minute walk to the Minster so everything was easy to walk to from the apartment. Could not fault the apartment at all, everything in it is lovely quality and it is all lovely and clean too. We had a vase of fresh flowers and a box of Betty's biscuits waiting for us along with tea,sugar,coffee and a small milk, which were all nice touches! Also all the bed linen and bath towels are all really nice quality too. It is in a lovely quiet area and the apartment was nice and quiet too! Would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in York! We will be staying here again the next time we visit York for sure. Many Thanks to Paula and your Staff for all your hard work in keeping this place so beautiful xx

From booking to meeting and greeting the process was smooth and professional. Very easy to find off the ring road and my what a great spot. Literally 30 seconds and you're in York city. The apartment was spotless and there was milk/tea etc as well as a lovely packet of shortbread biscuits. Very nicely decorated with quality furniture and a lovely bathroom. Heating worked a treat as it was very cold during our stay. Would definitley recommend.

My 75 year old mum,my 9 year old daughter and myself have just spent 4 nights at this apartment and it was just the best accommodation for all ages.. The amenities within the apartment were excellent and location 2nd to none and with the personal touch which I have never experienced in self catering accommodation before. It was 2 minute walk into the city but so peaceful and quiet you wouldn't know you was in the heart of York. The communication with the owner plus housekeepers were excellent from start to finish The photos on here are exactly as the apartment looks. Will defiantly be returning plus recommending to family and friends. Thank you Paul,Paula,Richard and Debbie excellent work and for making our holiday a stress free one
