“Shopping and lunch”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 31, 2014

Wide verity of clothes shops. Plenty of shoe shops and bags to choose from, what more could a girl ask for.
Had lunch at the fishermans wife's, fresh fish, hot chips n tasty gravy, reasonably priced.

“Well laid out.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 12, 2014 via mobile

We visited here while staying in the York area.
Overall it reminded me of an American mall in its layout and ambience. Nicely set out and a nice logical feel to the place. However a lot of the stores didn't seem much cheaper than what you'd find on the high street.
A nice way to spend an hour or two if you're in the area all the same.

“Typical Outlet...”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 11, 2014

I like to come to McArthur Glen as it has a CK and AEX outlet. There is also a Radley, Fossil and Coast outlet and the GAP is one of the better ones found in an outlet. We have had some good bargains in our time but there are a lot of rubbish stores there too. Hugo Boss and Hilfiger are also good. I don't understand why there are a few stores here, namely the cookware and perfume stores.

They have a few nice places to eat upstairs and 3 coffee shops.

Worth a trip when passing by!

“All in one place”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 4, 2014 via mobile

Cannot fault this place. I can never decide where to shop as many of my favourite stores are here. That's Entertainment, Ted Baker, Nike, Crew Clothing, Lacoste, Fred Perry, Ralph Lauren, Asics and many more. Relax at Starbucks or Costa or even have a meal upstairs at your choice of restsurant. Always a fun experience when I go here. Will definitely be back soon

“An okay day out, nothing special”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 28, 2014

For years I've heard amazing things about the cosmetics store at McArthur Glen. Finally went yesterday, was pretty disappointed to be honest.

It was okay, but wasn't worth an hour drive, really. I did get some good bargains from both MAC and Joules but again, wasn't worth the long journey.

Nice varied shops, could do with some more modern ones, though.

I was shocked at how small the place is. I expected the Cosmetics store in particular to be really big, it was tiny!

Didn't try the food court upstairs and judging by below comments, I'm quite pleased.

Parking is good, we used Park & Ride and went in York instead.

Overall, its okay but I wont bother visiting again.

Some okay bargains but nothing special and wouldn't really recommend.
