“Very good”

Clean, spacious, good shops, plenty of parking and very handy to use for park & ride into York, was £5.20 for 2 adults with 2 under 16 free, so we parked up, caught the bus into York for a mooch then came back here for a shop and to eat, was our 2nd visit but won't be our last

“Fab place (use the park and ride facilities for York access)”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 1, 2013

Great place, very clean, lots of parking. If you are planning on a trip into York, use the park and ride based here as its way cheaper than the extortionate parking costs in York!
Great shops, sales are cheap, cars for the kids to be wheeled around in and an outside play area.
Upstairs there are the usual fast food outlets but plenty of cafes in the centre.

“Good Shopping”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 20, 2013

With a holiday to shop for, McArther Glen, York was perfect, lots of "higher-end" high street shops with excellent discounted prices, and on-trend clothing and accessories. Just about perfect for a days shopping. Plenty of coffee shops but eating out was very poor though, not much choice, we left early to find somewhere nice for an afternoon tea. Plenty of parking and very spacious malls, a very pleasant trip.
