Located only a few hundred meters from the City walls a spotless apartment, with everything you need for a break in York. Thank you to Peter who sent us directions and his contact details prior to out arrival so that he was there to meet us on arrival.
The pictures do not do this apartment justice. It was beautiful from the moment we stepped through the door. Peter was great in meeting us at the apartment and showing us around and how things worked. It was a stones throw from the centre of York about a 10 minute walk which was ideal and it was in a peaceful location with all the amenities you could need. Would highly recommend for both groups of friends and families alike.
We arrived just as the floods receded, fortunately the property hadn't been affected. Our host Peter couldn't have been more helpful, we received a lovely welcome. We stayed with 2 grown up children (19 & 18 yrs) and my mum. The property was ideal, lovely touches with fresh bread and milk on arrival. Also having cereal and butter provided meant that we didn't haven't go out and buy essentials. It was a good size, clean and decorated to a high standard. It's in an ideal location as its only a short walk to the city walls and the shops, 10 mins max. We stayed over the New Year and had a fantastic time. Can highly recommend both the accommodation and the beautiful city of York.

The apartment was modern and the kitchen was well equipped to cook meals with plenty of fridge space (2 fridges). Sainsbury is 5 minute walk away as is the city walls. Although on a busy road, the traffic noise was distant and not audible in the rear 2 bedrooms. It was nice to arrive to fresh milk and bread and tea and coffee. My mother is not very mobile, but the flat can be accessed via a ramp as well as steps and with all rooms being on the same level she found it ok for her, although the shower is over the bath which proved difficult for her to access. Would book this again next time staying in York

Centrally located and very well equipped flat. The owner, Peter, is extremely helpful. Some very nice touches - bread and milk waiting for us in the flat. Despite the central location (5 minutes walk to the Minster), it is very quiet in the evenings. Strongly recommended.
