Stopped in at Circles instead of hitting the usual branded places in York city centre. It is small but it what I expected from a historic building on the ancient Lendal Bridge. It's on the way into the centre from the train station so it's very convenient. Good selection of sandwiches, cakes , teas, coffees and soup of the day. I have given the "families with children" rating a 3 because it is small and wouldn't suit a larger party, or buggies, fine for me, wife and 6yr old though. Not really a fault it's just an old building.
