Had an excellent latte and white chocolate/lemon slice here for morning tea. Although the restaurant was busy, and I was on my own, I did not feel pressured by the staff to hurry up. It is such a delight to find somewhere 'different' to all the usual coffee chain shops that exist in most high streets and although York has more than its fair share of independent restaurants and cafes, I think it should treasure this one.
I didn't participate in any of the workshops, but think them an excellent idea for locals and tourists alike.

We found this place by accident after looking for somewhere to stop for a coffee and cake before we came home. What a gem of a find! Such a lovely, quirky little place with an obvious love for all things chocolate. My son is 16 so he didn't partake in the lolly making activities but it looked great fun for younger children. The range of milkshakes was fab so will have to go back to try and taste them all.

Went as part of a large party this afternoon for 'afternoon tea' and chocolate demonstration. They were late seating us (which as probably understandable on a busy Saturday afternoon). The food was dreadful, small portions, the scones were so dry they were almost inedible. The chocolate demonstration was more suited to a party of six year olds. On the plus side the staff were very friendly and apologetic that things hadnt quite gone to plan. Wouldnt recommend a vist
