Not in the centre of York, about 5 minutes drive. Only 6 pounds in a cab into town. Much easier to access by car than in the centre. Big free carpark. Big rooms with comfortable beds. No free Wifi, which was a surprise. The breakfast was 15 pounds, a bit expensive - we went to a cafe instead. Very helpful staff. Overall an excellent hotel. Would stay again if we visit York.
