“Welcoming and safe”
Reviewed March 16, 2013

We found St Sampson's by accident, while wandering around York on a cold day. We stopped outside and a man said come in it's especially for our age group, no screaming children running around unsupervised! It was spotless warm and so welcoming, there was laughing, chatting and excellent food served by volunteers. We would definitely go again, if we manage to get back to York.

“Great place for seniors!”
Reviewed April 20, 2012

If you are a senior visiting York this is a great place to go for a meal or just a cuppa! The prices are great - comfy chairs to relax in and friendly peolpe as well. St. Sampsons is now a redundant church, but used as a drop in centre for seniors. Just next to the market. This is the place to take a break.
