We were visiting York on Easter Sunday and went to the Easter evening celebration.
This magnificent old building was packed with a wide range of ages. Coffee served beforehand followed by an exhilrating service.

For Easter they invited the public in for tea/coffee cake and a short service with the York City Gospel Choir. No donations were asked for but many give. Service short and to the point, singing excellent. They even had craft table for children. Well done to all involved.

Lovely building next to York Minster. When we visited they were having a full day of short services with the York City Gospel Choir, along with coffee and cake. Donations werent asked for, for refreshments but we were happy to leave one.
Everybody was very welcoming and friendly.
Thank you for a memorable visit

The church where Guy Fawkes was christened and opposite the house where he was born. Frequent concerts. Right next to the Minster so easy to find.
