Found the museum/ride very interesting and factual, children who are both teens loved finding out about life in York in Viking times, the dummies and smells were really good and gave a real feel that you were in a bustling town around 1000 years ago.
Was a bit pricy but we printed off money saving coupons before hand so worth having a look on google before going.

This is a fun experience with brilliant models, and displays of superbly preserved funds such as 1000 year old leather shoes, just wonderful to see. The loos are not great! not looking too tired considering that this attraction is getting quite old now, although nothing like as old as the exhibits!

The "ride" was good and the boards and staff were very informative. They all knew what they were talking about and would take time to answer any questions.

What a wonderful exhibition & the immense amount of thought, planning & work that has gone into putting it together has to be amazing.
SO much detail, SO much history, SO much planning it is truly worth it

The ride was so informative & you could lose yourself into the Viking way of life as you travel around the village. We had heard how wonderful it was & was not disappointed. You actually feel as though the characters are talking to you as you rid around.

The museum itself was very crowded with children from UK & abroad so it was difficult to read all we wanted to. as they kept pushing in front of us as we tried to read the boards. The skeletons were excellent & the displays also. Would love to have been able to spend more time going around but were crowded out.
