“A romantic, chilled break in a beautiful city”
Reviewed November 17, 2012

Me and my partner had a lovely stay at the jorvik. The Jacuzzi bath was well worth the extra expense! The location was perfect and the room was very clean with everything we needed! Staff could have been a little friendlier and the shower wasnt the best but thats me being picky. We went 'room only' so i cant comment on the breakfast.

Stayed here for business. Room was a reasonable size and clean. Some nice facilities. The location is ideal for the NRM and is less than 10 minutes walk from Swinegate where there are many fine eateries. Remember to allow money for parking. It cost £8.00 just to park overnight. I will return to this hotel with my wife in the near future.

Stayed at the Jorvik Hotel again on Friday. The staff are really helpful and the rooms are fantastic and well equipped for a small boutique hotel. The breakfast was good and I will certainly be going back.
But the best thing is that it is a short walk from the station, and from the centre of town and all the shops and tourist attractions.

Room Tip: It's a quiet location and the bigger rooms at the front are very nice.

Stayed here for one night, it is in a good location, only a 5 minute walk from the center and just opposite the museum gardens. the room was quite cold (probably because of the drafty windows) but reception happily provided another heater and then we were fine. overall the room was good, very clean and the bed was comfy. would recommend this to anyone who wants a comfortable and reasonably priced stay near to the city center.

we are just back from a two day break at this hotel, as other reviewers have said this is a lovely clean hotel, pleasantly decorated with all mod cons. breakfast was excellent, freshly cooked to order. nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were friendly and chatty. brilliant location close to everywhere! we will definitely return!

This hotel in on such a quiet street it's hard to belive you are so close to all the city centre attractions. It is clean, comfortable and the breakfast is excellent value. The staff are very helpful and friendly. I would definately stay here again.
