The desk clerk said our room was just up the stairs, but after lugging our heavy luggage up four flights were were surprised by a very nice room. Unfortunately the windows had been painted shut, so we couldn't open them. The room was sweltering, so we asked for another room. We were given another room in an unrefurbished part of the hotel. There was an elevator in the unrefurbished back part of the hotel, but it wasn't working. So we trudged up additional stairs to a musty smelling but relatively comfortable room and had a good night's sleep. Breakfast was excellent with a continental buffet and several choices for a cooked breakfast. There's lots of off free off street parking and it's a quick walk to the Minster. Free Internet is only available in the lobby and bar. We'd recommend the Minster Hotel, but only if they give you a lower floor room that is refurbished.
