Visited this restaurant today when visiting my Daughter who is at Uni at York. The restaurant had been recommended to my Daughter. It was very quiet when we went only a couple of tables being used.We opted for the £11.99 buffet. For that we had poppadoms with 7 different chutneys, pickles etc. We then had starters which consisted of samosas, onion bhajis, lamb chop and chicken. We were then able to help ourselves to the buffet where there were 2 types of rice, several curries including chicken, lamb, beef, fish and vegetables. There were about 10 choices in all. You can go up as many times as you like although there is a notice up saying if people leave a lot of food there will be a £2 surcharge. The food was lovely, couldnt complain about anything. The service was good as well. There wasnt really an atmosphere in the restaurant but this was probably due to the time we went which was 5pm Sunday but it is worth a visit
