“Great treat for grandkids!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 11, 2013

We took our grandchildren to Castle Museum. They fully enjoyed the experience, especially the armory, guns, swords and wearing helmets and of course the Victorian street.

The cafe was disappointing, little choice.

We paid £8 each and it was well worth it, loads to see and do, also they take your details and can go back for free for up to a year.

We will definatly go back later on this year.

“Fun museum”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 7, 2013 via mobile

This is a great fun museum the Victorian street is great. The staff we met were talkative and seem to enjoy their job the reception staff seemed fine and polite they don't allow pushchairs but they provide equipment to carry your baby. There is a new toy area for your children to play but its at the beginning would have been nice in the middle of the visit the museum works on a one way system. The prison is very good to. We paid £20 and got a winter deal ticket which gives us entry to the Yorkshire museum as well. The great thing about the tickets are they last a year and you can go back a much as you like.
